The hotel is located in the heart of Vienna on the famous "Ringstrasse", within easy walking distance of the State Opera House, St Stephens Cathedral and the main shopping street, The Kartner Strasse. The famous Cafe Schwarzenberg is located just opposite the hotel.

The rooms are very large and in excellent condition. The deluxe rooms have chandeliers and traditional furnishings. The classic rooms are traditional in design and individually decorated to a very high standard. Early Bird discount rate valid for bookings made prior to 19 June 2009. Any bookings or amendments made after this date will be re-priced as per the normal rates.

There are two restaurants located on the ground floor, also very grand in appearance.
